FAQ

How do I get started?
Whether you want to use the KonMari Method or need more general decluttering and organizing, we will start with a consultation call. During this call we’ll discuss your needs and vision. If we determine my services are a good match for you, I’ll do a 30 minute home visit to assess your space. The number of sessions needed will depend on how many belongings you have, the size of your home and how much support you need along the way.

How do I book a session?
Please begin by booking a consultation call. During the call we will discuss any questions you may have and choose which services are aligned with your needs. We can book your sessions during the call or whenever you are ready to proceed.
Please note, sessions cannot be scheduled without a consultation call or on behalf of another person.
-
Do I need to tidy up before a session?
Please avoid tidying up prior to a session. It’s helpful for me to see your home in its normal day-to-day state so I can help develop solutions that work for your unique needs and flow.
If you are doing the KonMari Method, your first session will be the clothing category. Please have your laundry washed and ready, but no need to fold anything. We'll handle that together during our session.
-
Should I buy any storage items prior to a session?
I’m happy to say no! During our decluttering process, we’ll likely uncover more storage space than you realize. There’s usually no need to purchase anything ahead of time. Once we’ve completed the decluttering, we can revisit storage solutions together, and I’ll offer recommendations if needed.
-
Can you organize my space without me?
I don’t work solo because this process is all about you. Decluttering and organizing is deeply personal, rooted in what brings you joy and supports your ideal lifestyle. We’ll work together side-by-side so that every decision reflects your values and vision.
-
Do you haul my discarded items away?
You’re responsible for the final disposal of any discarded items. However, I’m happy to assist by helping you load them into your car at the end of our session. I can also suggest donation centers or recycling options if you’d like support with next steps.
-
How much does it cost? What payment types do you accept?
Package and session prices are posted on my website, but the final cost for your project will depend on the level of support you need, how much stuff you have and your budget.
I currently accept Zelle and cash. A deposit is due at time of booking to reserve your session.

Why work with a professional organizer?
It’s so common to feel overwhelmed by clutter or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, but organizing doesn’t have to be something you do alone.
Working with a professional organizer is kind of like working with a personal trainer or coach. Sometimes you just need someone to encourage you and help you stay on track.
Whether you're going through a big life transition or just ready for a fresh start, having someone by your side can make all the difference.
