“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” — The Bhagavad Gita
I began practicing yoga in 2005 and immediately felt a deep connection to the practice. I loved how it left me feeling clear-headed, grounded, and ready to face the world. Over time, yoga became such a meaningful part of my life that I enrolled in a yoga teacher training, not originally to teach, but to deepen my own practice. To my surprise, that journey quickly inspired me to share the benefits of yoga with others.
In March 2024, I completed my 200-hour RYT certification through Heaven Meets Earth in Evanston.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve witnessed firsthand how my yoga practice has evolved; and that evolution has become the foundation of my teaching philosophy. I believe yoga should meet you where you are. As we change and grow, so should our practice.
My classes weave in pranayama, meditation, and yoga philosophy because I want students to experience yoga not just as a physical practice, but as a practical tool for daily life. Yoga doesn’t need to stay on the mat or in the studio. What you learn through the practice can be a steady companion through it all.
I’m currently pursuing my 500-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training, which I’ll complete in 2025.
